A fashion retailer had outgrown its platform: the catalog, the integrations, and the traffic all demanded more than the old stack could give — but the store couldn’t afford to go dark for a migration.

Replatforming risk lives in two places: downtime during cutover, and the custom integrations nobody documents. Both had to be engineered around, not hoped around.

A Shopify Plus migration with the custom integrations rebuilt and the catalog restructured — sequenced so the switchover happened without the store ever going offline.
